Your Role with the Company
The Pipeline Engineer will conduct engineering duties as a technical specialist, formulating and developing advanced engineering concepts.
Other qualifications and/or responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provides discipline-specific engineering assistance, direction and development assistance to colleagues.
Solves technical problems related to projects and troubleshoots and updates report data for business unit(s).
Upgrades, designs, configures, maintains and monitors related Pipeline and Terminal equipment and performance.
Develops project scopes, budgets and AFEs for approval, and ensures projects meet budget as well as Pipeline, DOT and OSHA standards.
Coordinate, facilitate and document Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management Change and participate in and facilitate incident investigations.
Provide training on PHA and Incident Investigation facilitation and general training on Management of Change (MOC), incident investigations, PHAs and Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in the pipeline engineering discipline. A strong understanding of basic pipeline processes and the elements of process safety and systems.
Minimum of a B.A. in Engineering discipline is required.
Working knowledge of engineering software is preferred.
May be responsible for the supervision of personnel as well as contractors.
