  • Your Role with the Company:

    The Pipeline Engineer will conduct engineering duties as a technical specialist, formulating and developing advanced engineering concepts.

    Other qualifications and/or responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provides discipline-specific engineering assistance, direction and development assistance to colleagues.
  • Solves technical problems related to projects and troubleshoots and updates report data for business unit(s).
  • Upgrades, designs, configures, maintains and monitors related Pipeline and Terminal equipment and performance.
  • Develops project scopes, budgets and AFEs for approval, and ensures projects meet budget as well as Pipeline, DOT and OSHA standards.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and document Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management Change and participate in and facilitate incident investigations.
  • Provide training on PHA and Incident Investigation facilitation and general training on Management of Change (MOC), incident investigations, PHAs and Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews.
  • Background Profile:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in the pipeline engineering discipline. A strong understanding of basic pipeline processes and the elements of process safety and systems.
  • Minimum of a B.A. in Engineering discipline is required.
  • Working knowledge of engineering software is preferred.
  • May be responsible for the supervision of personnel as well as contractors.
